The deadlifts were tougher than I thought they were going to be. I did the first 3 sets “CrossFit-style”, that is I bounced my reps off the floor. I also need to fight my now natural inclination to hook grip the bar at lower weight sets.
This seems to be an insufficient warm up. My first work sets are a bit shockingly hard and the second work set feels noticeably easier. Normally, I’d warm up by doing more sets of triples at smaller increments.
